We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Placement Specialist to join our team at Bravo Networks. As an Insurance Placement Specialist, you will play a key part in identifying placement opportunities to increase partner insurer penetration, increasing Bravo Network income through partner placement and growth of Gross Written Premium (GWP) with existing Partner Insurers.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Business Development Managers (BDMs) and our members (independent insurance brokers) to identify new individual cases and markets to approach.
- Support the placement of business with Strategic Partner Insurers and wider family markets, assisting members grow GWP with partner markets.
- Review the success of identification and placement of new business on a monthly basis.
- Consistently maintain the internal central database of pipeline activity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with BDMs, Placement Team, Insurer Relations Managers and provide regular feedback to line manager.
- Produce monthly MI for BDM and Line Manager, identify areas of opportunity and act upon them.
- Maintain a good working knowledge of Insurer appetites applying it to placement activity within the Bravo Network Membership, keeping up to date with industry news and developments as well as a good working knowledge of the Network Divisions proposition and how it compares with the Market.
- Have an overview of Bravo Network strategy and, where relevant, articulating this to Members.
- Ensure all relevant business activities fully comply with FCA regulation and company Conduct Framework process and promote and embed a TCF culture in all business dealings.
This is an opportunity for a proactive influencer with strong relationship management skills who can communicate effectively whilst planning and organising their time effectively. You will need to be a self-motivated and driven individual who works well in a team but can use their initiative and resourcefulness. You will need to have worked in the insurance industry previously and have current and extensive product knowledge in both the personal and commercial lines markets. CII qualifications would be a bonus but we offer plenty of opportunity and support to gain industry qualifications.
