About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team on a temporary basis for 8 months. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's accounting and controlling function, executing core accounting processes, and managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain financial projection models to forecast short-term and long-term business results
  • Manage our shared service provider and work with the group finance department to develop and optimize processes and internal controls
  • Be the contact person for local external auditors and tax authorities
  • Oversee the company's accounting and controlling function, including accounts payable, bank statement reconciliation, and month-end closure
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting
Requirements
  • Bachelor's (or above) in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent
  • 8-10 years of work experience, with 5 years as an Accountant
  • Experience working in an international environment
  • Knowledge of tax regulations for operative business and the use of SAP (FI/CO, SD)
  • Ability to build strong relationships with senior management and other key stakeholders
  • Ability to quickly grasp and solve complex problems
  • Effective interpersonal skills vital to effectively manage and influence behaviors
  • Fluency in English, German is a plus
