Job Title: Technical Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Coordinator to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. As a Technical Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our customers and internal staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Providing technical design and application assistance to customers and internal staff members.
  2. Offering technical advice and support with any queries as required.
  3. Assisting the sales team with detailed quotations and project-specific information.
  4. Keeping up to date with the technicalities of our product range.
  5. Liaising with Regional Sales Manager and National Technical Manager on new product development, design changes and service.
  6. Managing the project database, maintaining standards and effectiveness of quotations.
  7. Conducting training presentations to AC contractors and specifying consultants.
  8. Increasing the quality and effectiveness of the design team, regularly monitoring service levels.
  9. Managing a team of direct reports.

Requirements:

  1. Design/Application experience within the HVAC market sector.
  2. Sound technical understanding of air conditioning, heat pump, ancillaries and refrigeration systems.
  3. People management/team leader experience.
  4. Ideally, Kerridge K8 ERP software experience.
  5. City & Guilds qualification in Air Conditioning or Refrigeration is advantageous.
  6. Mechanical Engineering qualification is advantageous.
  7. Excellent communication skills across all levels, both written and verbal.
  8. A hard worker that's ready to get stuck in.
  9. High levels of organisation.
  10. An ambitious individual who wants to build a career.
  11. Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
