Key Responsibilities
  • Handle client inquiries and provide updates on matter progress
  • Manage files and ensure compliance with AML, quality standards, and SRA and CQS regulations
  • Perform general administrative duties, including preparing and submitting client quotes and drafting completion statements
  • Review mortgage offers and draft reports under supervision
  • Conduct online searches and prepare apportionment statements for leasehold properties
  • Use the Land Registry portal to submit registrations, respond to requisitions, and order official copies, leases, and title plans
  • Calculate Stamp Duty Land Tax and submit applications
  • Prepare and submit invoices, receipts, and payments to the finance department
  • Provide occasional reception coverage
Requirements
  • A solid understanding of the daily functions of a legal office
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with case management software
  • Proficiency in English language
  • Keen attention to detail
