Lead Internal Audit Strategist

As a pivotal member of our organization, you will engage across various sectors including Retail and Financial Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contributing to the development and execution of the Internal Audit strategy for the Group.
- Offering insights into the audit planning process.
- Enhancing audit methodologies and operational practices.
- Building and nurturing robust relationships with essential stakeholders.
- Overseeing the execution of the Audit Plan within set timelines and quality standards.
- Monitoring and reporting on the progress of actions agreed upon during audits.
- Assisting the Group Head of Internal Audit in managing co-source partners involved in the audit plan.
- Representing the Group Head of Internal Audit at significant committees when necessary.
- Recruiting and mentoring Internal Auditors as needed.
About You:
- You are a certified auditor or accountant (IIA/ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with recent experience in a multifaceted commercial environment.
- Your communication and influencing abilities are strong, enabling you to engage with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- You demonstrate a high degree of integrity and are comfortable challenging upwards and across functions while also welcoming constructive feedback.
- In a high-profile role, you exhibit resilience, adaptability, and self-motivation.
- Your commercial perspective allows you to assess impacts from various viewpoints, providing practical solutions.
- You possess exceptional technical skills and the intellectual capability to navigate complexity, articulating intricate issues in straightforward terms.
- You have proven organizational skills and experience in leading a team of Auditors.
- You are open to upward challenges and cross-functional inquiries.
