We are seeking a passionate Athletic Program Coordinator to become a vital part of our welcoming and collaborative teams within our educational institutions. This is a temporary position focused on promoting competitive sports activities for students of all ages. If you have a strong enthusiasm for athletics and wish to gain meaningful experience in an educational environment with young learners, this opportunity is tailored for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organizing and overseeing sports activities during recess and lunch periods to ensure an engaging environment for all students.
  • Maintaining a safe and enjoyable atmosphere during break times, ensuring all children are content and secure.
  • Designing and conducting after-school clubs that are centered around competitive sports.
  • Leading Junior Playleaders during lunch hours, coordinating activities that students will manage.
  • Assisting in delivering Physical Education lessons alongside teaching staff to enhance professional development.
  • Supporting assessment processes in Physical Education classes.
  • Planning, assessing risks, and executing in-school sporting events in collaboration with the PE Coordinator.
  • Contributing to the organization of the school-wide sports day in partnership with the PE subject leader.
  • Training student teams for sports competitions and coordinating these events with local teams.
  • Maintaining an inventory of PE equipment, ensuring it is updated and replenished as necessary.
