Job Title: Advanced Recovery Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Recovery Practitioner to join our team at Turning Point. As an Advanced Recovery Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing learning opportunities and acting as a point of expertise within your team. You will be responsible for supervising Recovery Workers, providing support to a team of Recovery Workers when working outreach, and completing generic audits of Recovery Worker cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support Recovery Workers in their daily tasks and challenges.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to Recovery Workers on complex cases and situations.
  • Complete regular audits of Recovery Worker cases to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with partnering agencies and stakeholders.
  • Participate in weekly Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings to support Recovery Workers and contribute to treatment planning.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in substance use treatment and recovery settings.
  • Specialist interest and depth knowledge of one or more complexities alongside substance use.
  • Understanding of risk and risk management, as it applies to substance use and complexity.
  • RMN, Social Work, Psychology, or other relevant qualification.
