Job Title: Head of Global Strategic Insights

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Global Strategic Insights team. As a key partner in the growth of our Specialty Care Franchise, you will be responsible for driving strategic insight generation that will help define Global Product Strategy for our Immunology, Hepatology, and Neurology assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Help shape the relevant portfolios and thought partner with the global product strategy leads
  • Lead and manage a team of market research professionals, guiding them in the design, execution, and analysis of market research projects to assess market trends, competitive landscape, customer preferences, and emerging opportunities
  • Be responsible for team connectivity with the business, the team's development and wellbeing
  • Lead the cross-functional team to consolidate these insights, competitor data, development updates, medical inputs & Voice of the Patient and translate these into concise and impactful recommendations, which carry the credibility to drive action
  • Direct the insight generation to shape and drive commercial forecasts for your team's assets
  • Partner cross-functionally on business development search and evaluation initiatives
  • Build and lead an above-asset view of the relevant spaces to ensure aligned thinking and a single-source of truth for assets in the same space
  • Identify, assess and implement better ways of working, including technology and innovation solutions to accelerate senior leader decision-making
  • Role model the behaviours expected of a leader at GSK
What You'll Need:
  • Significant pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Prior roles in commercial insights & analytics
  • Demonstrable experience in leading teams in both direct and matrixed capacities
  • Prior consulting or agency-side experience
