Job Title: British Sign Language Teaching Assistant - SEN Support

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated British Sign Language Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • **Supporting Students with Special Educational Needs:**
  • Assist students with hearing impairments in understanding and completing tasks
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to monitor student progress
  • Assist in classroom management and ensuring a safe learning environment

Requirements:

  • **Qualifications:**
  • British Sign Language Level 1 (BSL L1) certification
  • British Sign Language Level 2 (BSL L2) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certifications in special education or related field
  • Experience working with students with hearing impairments

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a classroom setting with students who have special educational needs. The working hours are full-time, following the school schedule.
