As a maintenance technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our plant equipment, working on a rotating continental shift pattern.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance using electrical, control system, and mechanical engineering skills.
  • Supporting site reliability initiatives, including identification of failure modes and trends, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Proactive fault prevention and continuous improvement activities to deliver key maintenance KPIs.
  • Supporting and coaching manufacturing technicians to develop their technical skills.
  • Providing support to site project and change initiatives as required.
Requirements
  • Inducted time-served apprentice with an electrical bias, holding a minimum of 18th edition certification.
  • City & Guilds 2391 holder.
  • Understanding of SCADA control systems, computer systems, and networking.
  • PLC experience required, with Allen Bradley and/or Siemens an advantage.
  • Ideal candidate will have FMCG experience and lean skills.
  • Excellent influencing, presentation, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong team player with a continuous improvement approach.
