Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at ECS Resource Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Track and report process improvement results to optimize production efficiency
- Improve the overall reliability and performance of plant, personnel, and production equipment and processes
- Ensure production targets are met, optimizing output and minimizing defects
- Provide production line support in line with company goals and objectives
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment breakdown repairs
- Establish process conditions and conduct in-line quality checks
- Monitor and control processes according to Statistical Process Control (SPC) method
- Analyze data to fault find and develop prioritized improvement plans
- Maintain and develop the delivery of finished products in line with cost, quality, and production schedule requirements
- Prioritize and promote Health and Safety awareness
- Train and mentor staff in an approachable and constructive manner
- Foster and develop excellent relationships with key business stakeholders
- Gather and share best practice, both within the business and world-class manufacturing sites
- First accomplished technical production support experience
- Electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, servo controls PLC fault finding (Omron preferred)
- Experience of robotics (ABB preferred), including experience of automated assembly production lines
- Experience of vision systems
- Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings
- Ability to follow SOP's and training processes
- Ability and willingness to work a night shift if required
