About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join our team at Telent. As a key member of our Engineering Team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT infrastructure solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement infrastructure solutions for customers, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with Senior Engineers to create test documents and procedures for infrastructure solutions.
  • Support the implementation and testing of infrastructure solutions, including FAT and SAT testing.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and processes to streamline infrastructure implementation and testing.
  • Perform audits of infrastructure systems to ensure compliance and security.
  • Develop and test solutions in lab environments to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Provide technical support to wider IT teams as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of migration plans and technical standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure, with a strong understanding of ITIL and Agile methodologies.
  • Expertise in Vmware, Hyper-V, AD, and other relevant technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with technical peers, project teams, and stakeholders.
  • Approachable and collaborative team player, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Minimum BEng Degree level of education, or equivalent experience.
