CASD Architect Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled CASD Architect to join our team at Reed. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing CA Service Desk and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement CA Service Desk and CMDB solutions to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Develop data feeds into the CA suite to provide a unified enterprise asset view.
  • Collaborate with a multi-skilled agile team to share challenges and cross-train.
  • Own the delivery of work packages from design to prototyping, ensuring compliance with functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Create and execute repeatable unit tests to validate functionality and handle both expected and unexpected outcomes.
  • Provide through-life support for the work package, from user piloting to production, including early life support.
  • Create and maintain support and design documentation to aid users and support staff.
  • Manage ongoing changes to the work package in response to user requirements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing CA Service Desk and CMDB solutions.
  • Ability to design and implement effective data feeds into the CA suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience in scripting unit tests.
  • Experience in providing through-life support for IT solutions.
  • Excellent documentation skills for support and design materials.
  • Agile and adaptable to evolving user requirements.
