Job Description

Project Engineer - Body Structures

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Recruitment Bunker. As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects within the Body Structures department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project budgets and supervise the preliminary stages of major projects
  • Assess production costs and other vital data pertaining to the project
  • Compile data derived from reports, revise time schedules according to necessity, and oversee the quality of work at project sites
  • Support project review meetings and liaise with Engineering teams, Manufacturing teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely closure of all actions
  • Responsible for the general management of the development and production stages of projects, ensuring all safety and legal requirements are being followed

Requirements:

  • Strong experience of working within an Automotive/Manufacturing environment with relevant experience as a Project Engineer within Body Structures or within a Project Management role
  • Proven record of people and project management
  • Integrates departmental planning with other business units
  • Demonstrates good emotional intelligence, ethics, and professionalism
  • Organized, methodical, but flexible approach to workload

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience and knowledge of designing project guidelines and procedures
  • Engineering degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • Composite knowledge and experience
