Job Opportunity for SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Zen Educate, a leading education recruitment agency.

About the Role:
  • Provide support to children with special educational needs, helping them to reach their full potential in a culturally diverse community that values the unique needs and abilities of each child.
  • Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering lessons, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic and personal growth.
  • Work one-on-one with students who require additional support, adapting to their individual needs and requirements with a flexible and patient approach.
  • Support student progress, helping each child to develop into a motivated and resilient learner who is equipped to succeed in their academic and personal pursuits.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive school community that is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs, with a strong understanding of their unique needs and requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team and build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Ability to adapt to individual students and their requirements, with a flexible and patient approach that prioritizes their needs and well-being.
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential) and a passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
