London, Greater London, United Kingdom Central London Community Health Trust Full time

Position Overview

The Musculoskeletal (MSK) service operates under the guidance of a Consultant Physiotherapist and encompasses various therapeutic interventions, including injection therapy, imaging access, women's health considerations, orthopedic clinical evaluations, and a range of evidence-based rehabilitation programs. This role provides the chance to spearhead projects and enhance your triage capabilities. The MSK Physiotherapy service at Central London Community Health Trust is dedicated to continuous research and innovation, allowing you to engage in meaningful contributions. You will collaborate with a diverse group of experienced senior clinicians, including Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners, across multiple sites, participating in various treatment and management pathways.

Key Responsibilities

We seek physiotherapists who are eager to broaden their MSK expertise, actively involved in evidence-based practices, and adaptable to the evolving healthcare landscape. As part of a welcoming and supportive team, we provide extensive learning opportunities to facilitate your advancement in the musculoskeletal field. You will receive guidance from seasoned MSc-level band 7 MSK physiotherapists and a team of specialized Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners with connections to secondary care services. Regular in-service training and supervision will be part of your professional development.

Our Commitment

Just as we prioritize the wellbeing of our patients, we also value your wellbeing.

We offer:

  • A thorough induction into the community service, followed by a localized introduction to your role.
  • A car lease scheme (terms and conditions apply).
  • Flexible working arrangements.
  • An annual travel card loan.
  • Comprehensive training, support, and career development opportunities.

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, utilizing investigative and analytical skills. Recognize your professional limitations and seek support as needed through supervision, discussions with peers or senior colleagues, and team case discussions.
