About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Software Engineer to join our Risk Technology team within Finance Risk Data and Control. As a key member of our agile team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering software components for our advanced technology products.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring these products are secure, stable, and scalable. You will work closely with our team to implement software solutions, write secure and high-quality code, and troubleshoot technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and troubleshoot software components within a technical product, application, or system.
  • Write secure and high-quality code using Java and other relevant programming languages.
  • Apply knowledge of software development life cycle tools to improve automation and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve technical issues of basic complexity.
  • Analyze large data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making.
  • Stay up-to-date with system processes, methodologies, and skills for secure and stable code development.

Requirements:

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
  • Demonstrable ability to code in Java, Spring Boot, and other relevant languages.
  • Experience across the whole software development life cycle.
  • Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies such as Angular, React, and TypeScript.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Hands-on experience in building microservices that run on internal and public cloud platforms.
