We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Software Engineer to join our Risk Technology team within Finance Risk Data and Control. As a key member of our agile team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering software components for our advanced technology products.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring these products are secure, stable, and scalable. You will work closely with our team to implement software solutions, write high-quality code, and troubleshoot technical issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development: Design, develop, and troubleshoot software components within a technical product, application, or system.
  • Code Quality: Write secure and high-quality code using Java and other relevant programming languages.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Apply technical troubleshooting skills to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity.
  • System Processes: Learn and apply system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
Requirements
  • Software Engineering Concepts: Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and applied experience.
  • System Design and Development: Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Programming Languages: Demonstrable ability to code in Java, Spring Boot, Multithreading, Micro-services, JPA, SQL, and REST.
  • Software Development Life Cycle: Experience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Agile Methodologies: Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Front-end Technologies: Familiarity with modern front-end technologies such as Angular, React, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • Cloud Technologies: Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Microservices: Hands-on experience in building Microservices that will run on our internal cloud and public cloud platform.
