Job Summary

We're seeking a caring and compassionate individual to join our team as a Home Care Assistant. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support and companionship to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
  • Support clients with shopping, errands, and other tasks that promote their independence.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance your skills and knowledge in caregiving.

Requirements

  • Caring and compassionate personality with a strong desire to make a positive impact on people's lives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
  • Subject to criminal record checks and satisfactory references.
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle (preferred) to facilitate client visits and outings.
