POSITION: EMEA Operations Stock Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Operations Director

LOCATION: Leeds, United Kingdom

As we expand our operations, we are thrilled to introduce a Stock Coordinator role within our EMEA team.

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Stock Coordinator plays a vital role in our operations team, focusing on the effective management of inventory levels, organization of storage facilities, and oversight of inventory transactions within the organization. This position demands a meticulous approach, exceptional organizational capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments to ensure seamless stock management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inventory Oversight: Monitor unsaleable stock, implementing KPIs to mitigate availability challenges.
  • Track inventory movements and generate reports on compliance issues.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and counts.
  • Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and collaborate with relevant teams for resolution.
  • Monitor damages and ensure proper liability coding.
  • Maintain adherence to inventory rotation practices, including FIFO/FEFO.
  • Prevent inventory shrinkage through KPI monitoring.
  • Ensure inventory hygiene and manage redundant stock.

Receiving and Dispatch Management:

  • Oversee the receiving process, verifying deliveries against purchase orders and ensuring the quality of incoming products.
  • Manage the dispatch process, including the reconciliation of returns.
  • Ensure timely resolution of receipt queries and closure of purchase orders within agreed KPIs.

Data Management:

  • Ensure alignment between 3PL WMS and Oracle systems, adhering to core metrics and KPIs.
  • Reconcile and align sub-inventories.
  • Maintain DOMO inventory reporting.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Collaborate with departments such as purchasing, logistics, and sales to coordinate stock movements based on demand.
  • Provide updates and communicate stock-related issues to team members and stakeholders.
  • Generate weekly and monthly inventory reports detailing levels, movements, and discrepancies.

Quality Assurance:

  • Act as the primary contact for quality-related issues, ensuring inventory is placed on hold and communicated to stakeholders before being released.
  • Work with supply planning to ensure held inventory is identifiable.
  • Collaborate with NPD, rework coordinators, and logistics managers to support quality inspections.
  • Investigate and report stock discrepancies or losses to management.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for enhancing stock management processes and propose solutions.
  • Assist in implementing new inventory management technologies.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in inventory management, supply chain, or logistics is advantageous.
  • Fluent in English and Polish.
  • Demonstrated experience in stock control or inventory management.
  • Proficient in inventory management software, WMS, Oracle/SAP, and MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Physical capability to lift and move heavy items as necessary.
