About the Role
Everest People Solutions is exclusively seeking a dedicated National Commercial Administrator for a prominent food processing organization based in Preston. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting the National Account Manager and the Site Head of Commercial with various administrative tasks, fostering essential customer relationships, and enhancing service reporting. The National Commercial Administrator is crucial in upholding high standards and contributing to ongoing success. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison for our client's retail customers' regional supply chain teams, streamlining the order receipt process.
- Oversee product data setup for new product launches, ensuring readiness prior to initial production.
- Accurately prepare customer pricing documentation.
- Assist in the organization of customer promotional initiatives.
- Generate and maintain weekly order forecasts utilizing the planning tool.
- Update and disseminate daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including service level performance metrics to retail clients.
- Employ reporting tools to deliver proactive insights and enhance performance.
- Prepare and arrange product samples for retail partners.
- Support ad hoc requests from internal management or clients.
- Identify and explore development opportunities within the organization.
Objectives
- Improve supplier inbound performance metrics.
- Effectively communicate KPI reports.
- Provide analytical insights and recommendations across supply chain and commercial divisions.
- Maintain and surpass on-shelf availability benchmarks.
- Achieve targets for promotional performance.
- Integrate cross-functional forecasting processes.
- Implement and incorporate value-adding activities and innovations within the team.
- Conduct store visits and competitor assessments, providing reports and recommendations.
- Complete various ad-hoc projects as necessary.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable role within a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential.
- Ambitious, customer-oriented team player.
- Willingness to travel to various sites, customer offices, or retail locations; a full, clean driving license is required.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and numerical capabilities.
- A collaborative team player adept at engaging with multiple departments.
