Job Description

**Job Title:** Environmental Sustainability Specialist

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team at ERSG Holdings Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting environmental engineering studies, providing input and support to Duty Holder Operations, and ensuring compliance with environmentally specific regulatory submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. **Conduct Environmental Engineering Studies:** Perform and document environmental studies and analyses in support of project and/or consultancy scopes of work.

  2. **Provide Input and Support to Duty Holder Operations:** Coordinate and ensure compliance against environmentally specific regulatory submissions, plans, etc., as required by Duty Holder (SCR2015) Pipeline Operator (PSR1998).

  3. **Manage Environmental Permits:** Review and periodic update of environmental elements of Management systems, CMAPP, and coordination of IS014001 accreditation and environmental support to other audits and BMS reviews.

  4. **Identify Opportunities for Environmental Support:** Facilitate environmental related workshops, e.g., ENVID, and identify opportunities for provision of Environmental support, tenders, and planning.

  5. **Prepare and Plan CTRs:** Under guidance of Manager/Proposal Manager/Project Manager, prepare and plan CTRs ensuring all requirements in place to provide fit-for-purpose deliverables to time and cost.

  6. **Liaise with Clients:** Within bounds set by Manager/Project Manager, liaise with clients directly to assure client requirements are being captured within the CTR and then are being met.

  7. **Support to Duty Holder Operations Incident/Crisis Management Teams:** Support to Duty Holder Operations Incident/Crisis Management teams when incident has environmental impact.

  8. **Train/Provide Knowledge Sharing:** Train/provide knowledge sharing within department/organisation.

Requirements:

  1. **Multi-tasking and Self-management:** Multi-tasking with ability to self-manage workloads and workloads of others to meet agreed timescales for delivery.

  2. **Good Working Knowledge of Environmental Regulations:** Good working knowledge of applicable environmental regulations, codes of practice, standards, and internal procedures.

  3. **Perform Detailed Studies and Analyses:** Perform detailed studies and analyses with no supervision.

  4. **Excellent Written and Verbal Communication:** Excellent written and verbal communication with strong report writing.

  5. **Awareness of Developing Environmental Engineering Technology:** Awareness of applicable developing environmental engineering technology and assessment techniques/methodologies.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor or Master's Degree in Engineering, Environmental studies, Science or Mathematics (if latter two then post-graduate studies in relevant environmental field are normally required).

· Chartered Engineer and/or Chartered Environmentalist and/or Chartered Scientist with recognised institute.
