Job Title: SEO Manager

At Northgate Vehicle Hire Careers, we are seeking an experienced SEO Manager to join our team. As an SEO Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our overall SEO strategy, working closely with the Head of Digital to drive traffic and rankings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, develop, and implement our SEO strategy to improve organic search optimisation and ROI maximisation
  • Perform thorough keyword research and monitor redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and other KPIs
  • Measure and report performance of all organic digital marketing campaigns, assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify problems and deficiencies, implementing solutions in a timely manner
  • Work with our development agency to suggest improvements to improve the visibility of the site and elements to improve our SEO performance
  • Guide content team through keyword research and feed into the wider content strategy aligning the output to improvements
  • Review content strategy and work with Content Manager to provide guidance to the wider team to improve rankings, traffic, and conversion
  • Oversee off-page optimisation including link-building
  • Optimise campaigns working with social media and PPC Manager
  • Stay up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing trends and best practices
Requirements:
  • In-depth knowledge of various platforms, Google Analytics including GA4, Google Search Console, SEM Rush, and CMS platforms, preferably Umbraco
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO principles and methods with experience in analysing data and making recommendations based on the information
  • Expertise in A/B and other testing methods
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the firm's success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Consumer awareness - quick to understand our audience and support the lead generation for client acquisition
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Ability to think strategically as well as tactically in fast-paced environment
  • Work to strict deadlines
Essential Key Skill Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as SEO Manager or similar role
  • 8 years of experience in planning and implementing a successful SEO strategy
  • Qualification in SEO Optimisation or relevant field
  • Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing
