**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our digital learning initiatives at HSE. As the Head of Digital Learning, you will be responsible for driving innovation and implementing best practice approaches in the use of digital learning technologies to support the digital development offer for colleagues across the organization.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Work strategically with key stakeholders to identify the best uses of digital technology and to improve the experience of colleagues engaging with our Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Provide strategic direction to a team of L&D specialists and supporting administrative function, and work in consultation with wider divisional areas in responding to organisational L&D needs.
  • Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) and reference point for all digital learning workstreams, contributing to innovation that influences change and advancement of digital and blended learning and development.
  • Continuing to evolve a Digital Learning Strategy that supports the organisational learning priorities.

  • Lead by example, and act as a role model, leading your team to develop a high quality blended learning offer for colleagues.
  • Work autonomously, identifying synergies and connections with the relevant divisional areas and teams, such as wider training colleagues, IT and finance, so as to develop and lead on digital learning and technology.
  • Provide innovative solutions to challenges and be able to mitigate potential risks, using your insight and experience of digital and blended learning.
