We are seeking a skilled Cost Estimator to become part of a reputable Chartered Cost Management and Project Oversight firm. Due to ongoing expansion, we are looking to add another professional to our team.

The ideal candidate will engage in projects primarily within the heritage and educational sectors, along with occasional bespoke residential assignments.

Experience in private practice is essential, preferably with a smaller firm. While Chartered status with the RICS is desirable, it is not a strict requirement.

Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, are crucial for this role, as are proficient IT skills.

It is vital that the candidate is capable of managing their own projects effectively.

Previous involvement with educational and heritage buildings will be advantageous.

Cost Estimator Position Overview

Type: Permanent Position

Job Title: Cost Estimator / Senior Cost Estimator

Working Hours: 9am - 5:30pm

Reporting To: Partners

Project Types: Heritage, Education, and Unique Residential Projects

Site visits as necessary.

Cost Estimator Position Requirements
  • MRICS status preferred or in the process of obtaining chartership
  • Relevant academic qualifications
  • Experience in private practice
  • Able to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong IT proficiency
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven track record of stability in employment
Cost Estimator Position Remuneration

Salary: Dependent on experience
