Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Equipment Hardware Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and verifying test systems using sound engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Development: Execute the requirements, design, implementation, and verification of assigned test systems, adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/programme requirements.
  2. Technical Leadership: Act as an engineering interface to the Project Manager, clearly articulating the technical direction and decisions, and technically supporting project planning and performance metrics.
  3. Documentation and Quality: Ensure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned Test Systems and/or tasks, in line with engineering policies and procedures.
  4. Team Collaboration: Provide technical guidance and leadership to personnel supporting the assigned project, and participate on teams assigned to address organisational initiatives and engineering issues.
Requirements
  1. Education: Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  2. Experience: Experience of Test System design, development, and hardware/software integration, ideally gained in an Aviation or similar high integrity environment.
  3. Skills: Good problem-solving and solution-building skills, ability to deliver solutions on-time, to budget, and with the required quality.
  4. Additional Requirements: Experience with Aircraft Power Distribution Systems Verification Labs, ability to travel to Customer facilities to support and diagnose Test Equipment faults.
