Job Title: Veterinary Nurse Vacancy

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at a small animal practice located near Shrewsbury in the Shropshire area.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time opportunity working 40 hours per week over 4.5 days with a weekend rota. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a varied role, including anaesthetic monitoring, nursing consultations, reception work, assisting the Vets, and schedule 3 work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, including anaesthetic monitoring and nursing consultations.
  • Assist the Vets with surgical procedures and provide support with schedule 3 work.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the practice, including reception work and administrative tasks.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse.
  • Registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).

Located near Shrewsbury in a beautiful part of the Shropshire/Welsh border, our practice offers easy access to Snowdonia National Park, the Welsh coastline, and cities including Manchester and Liverpool.
