About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Graduate Structural Engineer to join our team at Matchtech. As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for producing structural calculations and technical drawings in line with British Standards, Eurocodes, Building Regulations, and Network Rail standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce structural calculations and technical drawings in line with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the design team and external clients to deliver work to agreed specifications and timelines.
  • Prepare and check structural designs, supervise technicians, and represent the company in meetings and site inspections.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a built environment discipline, working towards membership with ICE, IStructE, or similar.
  • Basic design abilities in steel, concrete, masonry, timber; familiarity with soil mechanics, site investigation processes, and design software.
  • Basic AutoCAD and Microsoft Office skills.
