We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Dudley. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the education of young people with severe and profound learning difficulties, including high levels of autism and complex medical needs.

The successful candidate will provide additional support to students on a 1:1 or small group basis, assisting the teacher with general classroom and behavior management. They will also be prepared to support with personal care as required.

We welcome applications from candidates with a genuine passion for supporting young people with SEN and making a positive impact on their education. A bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field is essential, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills. A valid UK driving license is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide additional support to students on a 1:1 or small group basis.
  • Assist the teacher with general classroom and behavior management.
  • Be prepared to support with personal care as required.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people with SEN and making a positive impact on their education.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A valid UK driving license.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
