Clinical Cardiac Physiologist

We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Cardiac Physiologist to lead our Cardiac Physiology Services team in the Clinical Investigation Centre, specializing in Complex Diagnostics. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality echocardiographic investigations and diagnostic services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform and interpret echocardiographic investigations, including adult transthoracic, contrast, and bubble study echocardiograms, 3D echocardiograms, and dobutamine stress echocardiograms.
- Assist with transoesophageal echocardiograms and perform accurate and reproducible measurements and quantification.
- Independently issue final clinically diagnostic reports to a competent, highly specialized professional standard.
- Lead quality assurance in attaining clinical governance standards for Cardiac Physiology and manage Cardiac Physiology audit programs.
- Carry out administrative, environmental, and housekeeping tasks as well as professional responsibility and involvement in organizational and supervisory issues.
- BSc (Hons) in Clinical Physiology or BSc in Healthcare Science (Cardiac Physiology) or PTP equivalence.
- Transthoracic (TTE) Level 2 accreditation by the British Society of Echocardiography or Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography Certification by the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI).
- Knowledge and experience of advanced and highly specialized procedures acquired through accredited courses.
- Able to perform a range of specialist diagnostic investigations on patients in a variety of clinical settings.
