About the Role
JSS Search is collaborating with a distinguished Financial Advisory Firm. Following a significant growth phase, they are eager to expand their team with motivated individuals who are keen to advance their careers. This position is ideal for an experienced Administrator looking to develop professionally, gain leadership experience, and work towards becoming a chartered Financial Adviser within a few years.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Financial Adviser in daily operations, enhancing processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering exceptional service to clients throughout the financial year.
- Engage with existing clients to schedule Annual and Progress Reviews, participate in meetings as necessary, and manage post-meeting documentation, including fund adjustments and risk profile updates.
- Assist in cashflow modeling to help clients visualize their financial trajectories, ensuring they are prepared for significant life events such as home purchases, retirement, and education funding.
- Prepare documentation for new business, enabling the Paraplanner to draft suitability reports, with the expectation of eventually authoring reports for straightforward investment and protection cases.
- Accompany the Adviser in meetings with prospective clients, ensuring all objectives are documented and followed up with proposals.
- Communicate with providers for information requests and inquiries regarding fund transfers.
- Manage communications during the Adviser's absence, ensuring timely responses to client queries.
- Facilitate the onboarding of new clients, ensuring CRM systems are updated and aligned for accuracy and compliance.
- Commit to achieving Level 4 qualifications within two years and progressing towards Chartered Status thereafter.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- A minimum of one year’s experience in an administrative capacity.
- Experience within the Financial Planning sector is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to foster relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated energy, drive, and resilience, capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting.
- A genuine passion for organization, process improvement, and reporting.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary range of £25,000 to £35,000, based on experience.
