Job Title: Assistant Junior Rowing Coach

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Junior Rowing Coach to join our team at Enable. As a key member of our coaching staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of our junior rowing squad.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist the lead coach in managing the junior squad, providing guidance and support to athletes as needed.
  • Coach junior community sessions, which are a key pathway to the competitive squad.
  • Deliver high-quality sessions following the GB Rowing Team technical model, How much how often guidance, and Rower development guide.
  • Assist with the organisation and running of training camps.
  • Prepare crews and equipment to be competitive at local and national events.
  • Assist the lead coach with crew selection.
  • Ensure the safeguarding of children and young people.
Requirements:
  • Experience in rowing coaching, preferably with a junior squad.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to the safeguarding of children and young people.
