Nursing Associate

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Associate to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. As a Nursing Associate, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Your primary responsibility will be to work as part of a designated clinical and care team, delivering care that focuses on the direct needs of the individual. You will carry out specific delegated clinical and care tasks and responsibilities to a high standard and competency, under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or other registered care professionals.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have successfully completed the Nursing Associate training programme, which includes attainment of a level 5 Foundation Degree equivalent qualification. They will have developed and will be expected to maintain knowledge, skills, and competencies related to the role of Nursing Associate within the service and through completion of the Nursing Associate training programme.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Work as part of a designated clinical and care team, delivering care that focuses on the direct needs of the individual.
- Carry out specific delegated clinical and care tasks and responsibilities to a high standard and competency, under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or other registered care professionals.
- Qualified / Due to Qualify as a Nursing Associate.
- Holds a level 5 Foundation Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Evidence of having championed diversity in previous roles (as appropriate to role).
