Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Voice Engineer to join our team at Insight Global, working with a large financial institution in Central London. This is a 6-month contract with possible extensions, requiring onsite work 5 days a week.

The successful candidate will be part of the Digital Workplace and Voice Engineering team, responsible for designing, setting up, implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting microphone and voice controls within the organization's environment. They will also manage product lifecycles for voice platforms, provide escalation support, and advance troubleshooting of critical issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deployment, and support of voice platforms
  • Experience with MS Teams Meetings and MS Teams Phone
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco voice products, including Call Manager, Communications Manager (CUCM), Unity Connection, Voice ISR Gateway, and Cloud Telephony PBX (Zoom/Teams)
  • Engineering, deployment, and support of large-scale, multisite voice communication systems
  • Ability to clearly document deployment designs and related management and support procedures
Desirable Skills
  • Experience supporting global enterprise organizations
  • Ability to analyze production data to spot anomalies in configurations or logs
  • Capable of automating repetitive tasks in a production environment
  • Experience with Networking, Security, and VMware
  • Experience with Cloud Migration - SIP, SBC, AWS
  • Understanding of Voice Integration APIs and thorough knowledge of voice communication concepts and protocols - SIP, SDP, TDM/PSTN
