Business Operations Manager

Elite Sourcing is seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing structure and support to our operational teams, ensuring adherence to our business systems, policies, and procedures, while maintaining all legal and compliance obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health & Safety: Ensure a safe working environment for all employees and stakeholders.
  • Compliance: Maintain all legal and compliance obligations, ensuring our business operates within regulatory frameworks.
  • Operational, Project, and Financial Management: Oversee the management of operational, project, and financial aspects of our business, ensuring efficient and effective delivery.
  • Equipment Management: Manage and maintain our equipment and assets, ensuring they are in good working order.
  • People Management: Lead and manage our operational teams, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
Key Skills & Competencies
  • Education: Hold a business management accreditation and have a strong understanding of business operations.
  • Project Management: Possess project management qualifications and experience.
  • Health and Safety: Hold relevant health and safety qualifications, such as ISOH/NEBOSH.
  • Microsoft Office: Have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • ISO and Industry Accreditations: Experience with the administration of ISO and/or other industry-related accreditations.
  • Document Control: Experience with document control and document review processes.
  • Initiative and Proactivity: Demonstrate ability to work on own initiative and adopt a proactive management style.
  • Commercial Awareness: Have commercial awareness and understanding of the need to adhere to processes and work schedules to maximize revenue.
  • People Management: Proven and extensive people management experience, ideally within the construction or mechanical engineering environments in both the private and public sectors.
