We are seeking a dedicated Fitness Class Instructor specializing in Dance, Exercise to Music, and Spin.
Available hours include: Monday to Friday from early morning to late evening. Experience in multiple disciplines is a plus, with opportunities for consecutive classes.
As a Fitness Class Instructor at Fusion, you will engage our clients through a variety of classes. Your role involves welcoming participants, crafting and delivering exceptional sessions, and addressing the unique needs and capabilities of each individual.
If you possess the ability to inspire, motivate, and uplift others, along with a friendly demeanor and a proactive approach, then a position as a Fitness Class Instructor with Fusion could be the perfect fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct classes according to the scheduled timetable, ensuring prompt start times.
- Offer tailored options and achievable goals that consider the diverse needs of participants.
- Manage class attendance and bookings in accordance with Fusion's procedures.
- Oversee the smooth operation of sessions, including the setup and breakdown of equipment.
- Contribute to the development of safe and effective programming through innovative ideas, responding to member needs.
- Uphold personal accountability for hygiene, health, and safety standards.
- Complete all administrative duties related to the role.
- Maintain necessary qualifications, certifications, and training requirements.
To excel as a Fusion Fitness Class Instructor, you should possess:
- REPS/CIMSPA (Fitness / Exercise to Music) level 2 qualification (mandatory).
- Specific qualifications relevant to your chosen discipline (mandatory).
- Experience in delivering fitness classes in a similar role.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and their application in a fitness environment.
- Awareness of various learning styles.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to listen, ask questions, and provide constructive feedback, while quickly establishing rapport with clients.
- The capability to motivate and inspire others to improve.
- Proficient numerical and written communication skills.
- A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service to a diverse clientele.
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of participants.
