We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical/Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to join our Integrated Mental Health team at HMP Preston, a category B Prison located in Lancashire.
About the RoleAs a Clinical/Forensic or Counselling Psychologist, you will work collaboratively with the Mental Health team to provide high-quality psychological assessments, interventions, and support to patients. You will be an integral part of the clinical leadership team, contributing to the development of the psychological therapies service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical support and oversight to the Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT)
- Undertake psychological assessments and develop complex multi-disciplinary formulations
- Deliver psychological interventions to cases of complexity, including individual and group therapy
- Contribute to the development of audit, service evaluation, and research profile as appropriate
