About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff in delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assisting with daily living activities, administering medications, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Support nursing staff with clinical tasks, such as preparing patients for procedures, transporting patients, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for delivering high-quality services.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Maths and English GCSE C or above (or equivalent qualifications).
