Quality Assurance and Production Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement comprehensive quality control measures from the initial goods inspection to the final assessment stage.
  • Establish a strategic Goods Inwards Quality Assurance Inspection protocol to guarantee that incoming materials conform to specified standards.

Ensure that all quality-related discrepancies are documented, reported, and resolved efficiently and promptly.


  • Oversee the maintenance and regular updates of the company’s Quality Assurance database (Non-Conformance Reports) with the aim of minimizing both internal and external discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with the supplier quality engineer and other relevant parties to address quality issues impacting production, ensuring swift resolutions.
  • Provide regular feedback on quality metrics to production teams through scheduled meetings with team leaders and supervisors, emphasizing areas that require enhancement.
  • Compile and present information for quarterly reports on quality assurance performance.
  • Willingness to travel to suppliers and conduct both internal and external quality audits as necessary.
  • Assist in final inspections and molding assessments as required.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A degree in business, manufacturing, or engineering is preferred, or equivalent qualifications such as ONC, A Levels, BTEC Diploma Level 4, or NVQ.
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
  • Understanding of cost implications and financial impacts related to quality assurance.
