Production Quality Engineer

At Jackie Kerr Recruitment, we are seeking a skilled Production Quality Engineer to join our client's growing team in a niche industry within Engineering.

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant business or manufacturing degree, or equivalent qualifications, and have a strong understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide effective quality control from goods inwards inspection through to the final inspection stage
Develop a strategic Goods Inwards QA Inspection process to ensure incoming materials meet drawings standards
Maintain and update the company Quality Assurance database (NCR) with the overall target objective of reducing both internal and external non-conformities
Liaise with the supplier quality engineer and other stakeholders to communicate quality defects affecting production, with timely resolution
Provide information for quarterly reports on QA performance
Ability to travel and visit suppliers and conduct both internal and external QA audits as required

Requirements:

Relevant business or manufacturing degree, or equivalent qualifications
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
Ability to communicate quality defects and provide timely resolution
