Shift Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Leader to join our team at Tesco. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the store operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience, and leading a team of colleagues to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate store operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Lead a team of colleagues, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure they are equipped to deliver excellent customer service.
- Monitor and maintain store standards, including cleanliness, stock levels, and visual merchandising.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, sales, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as HR and logistics, to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Proven experience in a retail or customer-facing role, with a strong track record of leadership and team management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Basic knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, inventory control, and cash handling.
