About Us: Corston Architectural Detail is a company that aims to create high-quality products that enhance a space. We are looking for an energetic and creative individual to take ownership of HR administration in a varied and exciting role.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure all HR-related administrative duties are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Act as support within recruitment, absence, and welfare, policies, employee relations, and engagement.
- Assist with the overall HR operation and contribute towards achieving all expected objectives and aims.
- Ensure all databases and relevant colleagues are kept updated at all times.
- Record all candidates on the necessary databases and respond to them in a timely manner.
- Update the HRIS and relevant databases to record key information and trigger the generation of each stage of the onboarding process.
- Ensure new employees have access to all mandatory training as part of the onboarding process.
- Support the HR Manager in managing employee relations casework, including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, flexible working requests, absence, and change management programs.
- Coordinate and support line managers with their team's probation periods and relevant probation reviews.
- Coordinate the annual reviews and any mid-year review paperwork.
- Ensure all databases and employee records are kept up to date and are accurate at all times.
- HR experience.
- Fully conversant with relevant software programs, e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to engage naturally with others, confidently building and maintaining great relationships.
- High levels of emotional intelligence and outstanding communication skills.
- A self-starter with the initiative to independently move projects and activities forward.
- The discipline to work alone and to tight deadlines.
