Job Title: Research and Development Director

Job Summary:

Cure Talent is seeking an experienced Research and Development Director to lead the development and advancement of innovative medical products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the laboratory team and ensuring the successful launch of new products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Development: Lead the development and integration of new technologies, methodologies, and platforms that enhance the company's medical product capabilities.
  • Lab Management: Manage laboratory team to deliver tests to schedule, ensuring that all projects are aligned with business objectives and are executed efficiently.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Oversee the preparation of analytical performance data for new product approvals and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead non-clinical performance testing of medical products, from concept through to commercialization, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Process Development: Set up laboratory processes to support testing according to best practice and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree education in a relevant field, such as Microbiology, Biochemistry, or Biomedical Engineering.
  • Experience: Sustained experience within R&D within the medical device or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Leadership: Demonstrable experience in leadership roles in R&D, with a proven track record of testing medical products from concept to commercialization.
  • IVD Technologies: In-depth experience and knowledge of IVD technologies, including Molecular Diagnostics, Immunoassays, and Point of Care testing.
