Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead our UK operations in managing safety, health, environmental, industrial quality, security, and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will provide leadership, technical advice, and manage the SHE and Industrial Quality system across all company locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the SHE and Industrial Quality system across all company locations.
- Provide leadership and professional technical advice to plants, projects, and UK corporate offices.
- Manage safety, health, environmental, industrial quality, security, and regulatory requirements for the business UK operations.
- Identify, define, and implement SHE and Industrial Quality policies, standards, processes, and procedures.
- Monitor and assess potential future safety, health, security, industrial quality, and environmental issues.
- Manage regulatory licenses and permits, including COMAH, EPR, and climate change levy.
- Maintain oversight and provide necessary direction for process safety management and behavioral safety improvement processes.
- Manage the deliverance of a technical training and competence management system.
- Graduate in chemical or scientific discipline.
- Professional safety and health qualification, such as NEBOSH diploma.
- Further education or qualifications in safety or environmental areas desirable.
- Established technical background with 10 years' experience in a production or operations environment.
- Minimum of 3 years in a regulatory position for an upper tier COMAH site or equivalent.
- Proven experience with management systems, including design, implementation, and auditing.
- Technical competence in process safety, environmental regulation, and occupational safety.
