Key Responsibilities:- Provide a knowledgeable and professional first point of contact for housing services, responding to customer enquiries and requests via phone, email, and in-person.
- Support residents with a range of tenancy-related issues, offering guidance and advice to resolve problems promptly.
- Manage office administrative tasks, including document management, as directed by the Neighbourhood Team Leader or Head of Service.
- Process key returns, liaise with the Voids Team, and monitor property rent accounts to ensure accurate records and timely payments.
- Assist in resolving benefit queries by collaborating with the Housing Benefit Team.
- Liaise with Neighbourhood Team Leaders to ensure cheques are recorded and processed correctly.
- Compile and coordinate statistical data for Neighbourhood Team Leaders and Managers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain a good working knowledge of housing services and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages, including Word and Excel, for producing written information and analysing data.
- Able to manage and maintain records, files, and other documentation accurately.
- Public Sector experience is desirable.
