Role Summary

The Senior Systems Administrator will play a pivotal role in delivering technical guidance and support for our client's systems. This position involves overseeing the provision of technical services, ensuring the integrity of the organization's infrastructure, servers, systems, and communications at a third-line support level.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Delivery
  • Provide third-line technical expertise to operational and project teams as needed.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and resolve complex issues, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
  • Conduct intricate configuration and installation of server, storage, and communication platforms.
  • Establish and implement standards for configurations and tools.
  • Maintain comprehensive system documentation, including standards and procedures.
  • Employ management software to analyze system performance and generate improvement proposals.
Work Management
  • Serve as a reference point for inquiries related to incident and change management processes.
  • Ensure timely resolution of incidents within SLA targets.
  • Oversee Change Requests from initiation to completion.
  • Address customer complaints and escalate as necessary.
Essential Qualifications
  • Extensive technical experience with a wide range of server, storage, and networking technologies at a third-line support level.
  • Proficient in Windows Servers, virtualization technologies, and enterprise storage solutions.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and knowledge of IT security best practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in a technical support environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for report generation and presentations.
  • Strong organizational skills for effective delivery of requirements.
