Job Title: Associate Director / Director - Infrastructure

At Huphuphup, we are seeking an experienced Associate Director or Director - Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will lead highways and infrastructure design projects, represent the company as a technical expert, and contribute to winning work and delivering projects safely, efficiently, and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead highways and infrastructure design projects, supported by a growing team of engineers.
  • Represent the company as a technical expert and contribute to winning work.
  • Ensure successful project delivery to time, cost, quality, and other contractual requirements.
  • Work with clients to understand ultimate objectives and desired outcomes for each project.
  • Delegate to, manage, and direct Engineers and Technicians involved on projects.
  • Responsible for technical design quality on the projects they are managing.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership qualities and be self-motivated.
  • Undertake site visits to monitor the progress of works against specifications.
  • Liaise with other construction professionals in the development of designs.
Requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of delivering highway & drainage design.
  • Experience of highway technical design on major and minor projects.
  • Good understanding of design principles and the ability to practically apply them.
  • Knowledge of standard engineering practices and a demonstrable understanding of Health and Safety.
  • IT literate with excellent knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil3D and Microdrainage or similar.
  • Able to work collaboratively with a range of project stakeholders.
