About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a SEN/General Teaching Assistant at a school in central Gloucester. The role involves providing support to SEN pupils in the morning and general class support in the afternoon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to SEN pupils in the morning
  • Assist with general class support in the afternoon
  • Work with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans for SEN pupils
  • Support the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, pupils, and parents to ensure seamless support
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with SEN pupils
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the curriculum and educational policies
