Job Title: Team Coordinator working from home

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Treatment Planning Dosimetry team in our Radiotherapy Physics department at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a leadership role in our team. As a Team Coordinator working from home, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of professionals responsible for complex radiotherapy treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team in the provision of highly specialized treatment planning services for patients undergoing radiotherapy.
  • Manage the day-to-day radiotherapy external beam planning services.
  • Support the development of emerging techniques and service development relating to treatment planning.
  • Fulfil a specialized operator role in treatment planning with the production of highly complex treatment plans.
  • Manage and participate in regulatory and clinical audit and in the development of treatment planning techniques.
Requirements
  • Honours degree in a relevant discipline, e.g. BSc/Diploma Therapeutic Radiography DCR(T), BSc/Diploma Healthcare Science.
  • Relevant statutory registration through HCPC or RCT (or eligible).
  • Broad knowledge of Radiation Physics and radiotherapy.
  • Advanced knowledge of procedures and techniques within radiotherapy physics particularly in relation to treatment planning.
  • Highly experienced in treatment plan generation and review.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
