**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Technologist to join our team at The Compleat Food Group. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our raw materials.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and maintain raw material specifications to ensure fit for purpose and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to obtain product-specific approval documentation and ensure due diligence and audit readiness.
  • Assess new raw materials and provide feedback to NPD and Procurement teams to ensure timely implementation.
  • Support profit improvement plans by working with Purchasing and site technical/NPD teams to optimize raw material supply.

**Requirements**

  • HND or equivalent in food or related discipline.
  • HACCP- Level 2 certification.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Desirable qualifications include Authenticate/Food Connected training, Recipe Professor Training, Allergen Training, and understanding of VACCP.

**Ideal Candidate**

We are looking for a technical professional with experience in food manufacturing, knowledge of QMS and food safety systems, and expertise in raw material specifications and associated quality standards.
